Hello! Welcome to my website! My website is new, but my passion for writing is as old or older than I am. Expressing oneself through the written word is ancient and timeless. The word creates history by recording the past and present. Funny we should mention the word present because I believe that putting words to paper is a gift to ourselves and from ourselves to others.

I have completed three full-length movie scripts and pitched Soul Proprieter to Jerry Bruckheimer Productions. Still waiting to hear from them. (It's only been ten years!)

Me: I think this script would be perfect for Jim Carrey

JB Executive: Me too! He's going to love it!

Me: How soon can I expect to hear from you?

JB Executive: I'll call or email you in the next couple of days.

Right.....Well, that is my Hollywood story. Very common I'm sure. I believe in my script and I know it is unique. I will be revising it with you in the months to come. 

For now, you can join me each week in a journey of joy as I revise my first novel called Malibu Mom with you. There are many exciting twists and turns that we will take together in this adventure. This blog is coming from my heart. A heart, like yours, that beats the drums of my dreams. Writing is never a lonely sport for me because I connect with my characters who become my friends and me, their confidants. But, I can never trust them to stay the same. Nor would I want them to. They express themselves in ways that are unexpected and in the end, I am always surprised at the outcome. Did I really write that? I ask. No one else has my computer password, so yes indeed I must have!  

As a visitor here, you are part of a fantastic community of writers and readers! My first published piece was in the Demon Dispatch for Greenway High School. I'll never forget seeing my name in print for the first time. It was exhilarating, but more importantly, it sparked the fire that will light the way to my becoming a published author one day (I hope). 

Each week I will write 1000 words for us to review together. I can answer questions and would love to see your comments as well. I hope to help you to stay inspired to write your own words.
